An American engineer who stayed in China
In 1999, Wisconsin-born engineer Andrew Pfeifer raised his hand in a meeting and was sent to China, in his early twenties, to set up a transformer production line for a US power-supply company. When that company went bankrupt, he took over as general manager before he was 23, kept every worker and kept the factory running.
He went on to build his own company and his own brands, including Q-Shield, Cogent-Tek, Brew-Tek and Silent Valor, along with parts for automotive, defense and city infrastructure clients. Some of the engineers he hired in 1999 still work with him today.
CNBS Solutions is his passion project: an American-owned team in China that builds great products for customers, and for ourselves. We design, engineer and manufacture across the full product lifecycle, and we fix problems on the factory floor.

Around 40 staff work across our office in Jida, Zhuhai, our own factory in Pingsha town, Zhuhai, and our offices in Hong Kong and California. The four people below are your main points of contact — backed by the wider team that brings your product to life.
